After heavily teasing the new visual, Lil Nas X has delivered his highly anticipated “Rodeo” music video featuring Nas. This time around, Lil Nas X channels the energy of Michael Jackson’s legendary “Thriller” as he warps into a vampire similar to MJ’s supernatural and iconic video character. Including an intriguing dance break, the visual references films like “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Vampire in Brooklyn.” 

The “Rodeo” visual serves as Lil Nas X and Nas’ first team-up following an epic Grammy’s performance with BTS, Billy Ray Cyrus, Mason Ramsey, and Diplo. Nas takes a smooth approach to the creative concept as he references Laurence Fishburne’s character from “The Matrix:” Morpheus. Although Cardi B is the original artist feature on “Rodeo,” Nas Jr. took to Twitter to reveal that she was not available to shoot the video.
