MTV is bringing back the late Mac Miller‘s reality television series, “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family” in the wake of his death, The Blast reports. The network hasn’t announced a broadcast date, but plans are set.
The late-26-year-old made two seasons of his reality show back in 2012, and the show ran through 2014. It centered on him and his friends moving out to Los Angeles and recording his next album.
In that time, Mac frequently hosted some of the city’s best young artists while producing what would become his own critical breakthrough, 2013’s Watching Movies with the Sound Off, as well as several acclaimed mixtapes including Vince Staples’ Stolen Youth.
Since his passing, fans all across the states have paid tribute to the Pittsburgh native with vigils, and streaming his music non-stop.
