Nearly seven years after releasing his sophomore album, Kendrick Lamar is making history hip-hop history in a huge way.
According to Chart Data, Lamar’s critically-acclaimed sophomore album ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’ is now tied with ‘The Eminem Show’ as the only two rap albums ever to reach this huge milestone.
‘good kid’ has become one of Lamar’s best-known albums, earning him four Grammy noms, including Best Rap Album. The 2012 album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, being met with high praises from critics and fans alike.
