NPR gave their take on the 200 greatest songs by women in the 21st century and some of our favorite artist representing the Melanin community were mentioned. Here’s who they ranked:

Nicki Minaj coming in with two singles on the chart with “Super Bass” at #15 and “Feeling Myself” standing at #68.

Queen Bey listed four times in total.  She ranked at #3 with “Single Ladies,” “Formation” at #19, “Crazy in Love” at #48, and #103 for “Countdown”

Then we have Rihanna with three songs mentioned, including “Umbrella” at #24, “We Found Love” at #40, and #76 with “BBHMM”

And still new to the game, Cardi B came in at #25 with “Bodak Yellow” and Ciara at #132 with “Goodies.”
