UPDATE 4: The final part to Genius’ Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz interview is here. In this last installment, Rob asks 2 Chainz what his favorite Lil Wayne lyrics were, as Tity Boi takes us back to Weezy’s 2007 “I Feel Like Dying.” Vibe to the last part of this dope interview, and catch up on the rest episodes below.

UPDATE 3: Part 4 has arrived. For this episode, Rob asks 2 Chainz about his “I went to jail, I might go to hell, I used to sell drugs to my momma” line from ColleGrove cut “Section.” Though it was tough for Chainz to discuss it, he explains that music is therapy and that’s all he knows. See all 4 episodes below.

UPDATE 2: Part 3 has officially been released. During this segment, Rob asks Wayne and Chainz about their collab “Gotta Lotta” and the influence that Goodie Mob had on both artists. Weezy also rapped a classic verse from CeeLo Green’s “Goodie Bag,” which was enjoyable to say the least. Watch all 3 parts below!

UPDATE: Part 2 from Wayne and 2 Chainz’s interview with Genius is available now. Rob Markman talks with the two stars about ColleGrove cut “Bounce,” which despite the feeling of a “battle,” it was nothing short of a friendly competition. Check it out below.

Original Story:

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz gave fans a major treat a few weeks ago with their brand new collab album Collegrove. After getting a chance to digest it, and then digest it again, Chainz and Tunechi sat down with Rob Markman from Genius to discuss the new album and their working relationship.

For part 1 of 5, Rob has the two stars talk about the LP’s opening track “Dedication,” which was nothing short of a beautiful tribute from Chainz to Wayne. Shockingly enough, Weezy had no idea that Tity Boi was recording that track and he even admits that the first time he heard it, he shed a tear. Goes to show you just how special these two’s bond is.

Watch part 1, 2 and 3 below and stay tuned for parts 4 and 5 coming soon.
