Luke James and Trakgirl are becoming one of the go-to tandems in R&B, the duo links again for “Pearls.”

The tribute single is a cover of the classic Sade track of the same name, and comes as a slightly early birthday gift to the singer.

The duo spoke to Complex, in which James stated her and the producer were “paying homage to a queen with a queen.” Trakgirl, the second queen he mentioned, reveals the tribute is based off inspiration and reveals how much she loves creating with James.
