The first panel of the day started out with those who are behind some of the top artist development in the business. Moderated by the legendary Michael Bivins, Derek Roche, stylist Don C., and Lisa Cambridge-Mitchell. Speaking on how to build an artist up, as well as maintain them and their music style for their fan bases.

Not only were attendees given great pieces of advice from the panelists, but Bivins even brought us into some nostalgic periods, as he reminisced on working with Diddy on Making The Band on MTV. From speaking on Diddy’s style precisions and requests, to how to deal with Chris Brown’s personal issues effecting his music business, the crowd got a taste of what it’s like to develop a brand in the music industry.
