Future

Lindsey: Whether you’re a fan or not, it would be hard to deny the power of Fetty Wap this summer. The Paterson native has been going heavy on just about everyone’s tracks, and has completely vanished any talks of him being a one-hit-wonder. Not only has “Trap Queen” blown up the music game, but he has 3 other hit singles on the Billboard charts right now, all in the Top 10. In his first year of being mainstream, he’s already making history for his chart-topping skills, and has become one of the most in-demand performers of the year.

Arguably, Fetty is one of the only artists, besides probably Future, to not be outshined by Drake on his own track remixed by him. While Drizzy helped take “My Way” to the next level, the world is still screaming out Fetty’s hook much harder than Drake’s addicting verse. It’s pretty clear from over the years that if you can dim Drake’s light on your own track, you’ve got the world in your hands.

Fetty has been rolling out hits over and over in the last 6 months, hitting the road for the One Hell of a Nite Tour with Chris Brown, and even built huge anticipation for his debut self-titled album dropping on October 10. He’s got a feature with nearly everyone we can think of, and he’s just getting started. Fetty is on top of the mountain right now, and he’s here to stay awhile.
