Flippa: That shit is nutty, but honestly it’s been happening. It’s deeper than racism too. We gotta fight for our rights as the people. I don’t condone violence, however I support standing up for what’s right. I’m not saying to trash the whole city or harm anyone, but I’m also not saying to be peaceful. We’ve been peaceful long enough and it has got us nowhere.  I’m not saying every cop is like this because there are plenty of good cops, but then there’s that wave of cops who have the wrong intentions. I’m praying for all of them.

Who are some of your favorite artists?

Flippa: I listen to a lot of old shit as well as the new. So I would have to say a lot of Kendrick/TDE, Sounds Of Blackness, Ye, Luther Vandross, Shalamar, anything J Dilla produced, Zedd, Calvin Harris, A Tribe Called Quest, Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa, Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Elle Varner, Fred Hammond, Leon Ware, and random dope shit from Action Bronson, Future, Meek Mill, Miguel, Biggie, PJ (Atlantic), Lunch Money, this dope group out of Philly named Mprynt as well as a lot of new shit from the younger generation. I could go on for days. I don’t discriminate.

Flippa: I got some dope shit coming out with Ty Dolla $ign, Miguel, Usher, Sevyn Streeter, Overdoz, Prince Royce, Brandy, Jill Scott, and many more that I can’t mention until Donnie Meadows (from Sony ATV) confirms it.
