Last year you were on the Under the Influence Tour, now you have your own. What does that mean to you?

Iamsu: It means progression and growth I’m very excited to get to this point.

Do you like the smaller or larger crowds?

Iamsu: I just like a crowd. It’s still interesting just to see people coming out and enjoying my show so I’m just taking it day by day and enjoying it.

Do you get the same energy from both?

Iamsu: Yeah, absolutely it’s die hards in every crowd.

Being that main act do you feel pressure? These people are coming out here for you.

Iamsu: I think it’s tight. I mean they just believe in my vision enough to come and see me and I feel like I’m promoting something that is very positive at the end of the day.

When you are on tour what is necessary for you to have?

Iamsu: Water and I’ve been learning just to have Vitamin C. She’s been trying to get me on the Vitamin D, what is it Vitamin D or B12? Yeah, Vitamin D, pause that though. I’ve been on that and I went to GNC and got a daily vitamin, you feel me? I take a little fish oil, some magnesium, I’ve been trying to step my shit up. I had some grilled chicken today but I also had some Harold’s.
