Putting on for the Bay Area during each stop on his Eyes On Me Tour is Iamsu!, who took over Chicago’s Bottom Lounge with Rome Fortune this past Friday night (April 17). Taking the stage in front of an intimate Windy City crowd, Su ran through a set of his hits while connecting with fans from waiving cell phones to personally handing out t-shirts and posing with fans at his tour bus.

The lengthy set featured HBK Gang staples like “I Love My Squad,” fan favorites from his repertoire  like “Nothin’ Less” and “Only That Real” and some assisting verses from hits like “Gas Pedal” and “Function.”

After posing for photos and taking a break from catching up with friends departing the bus or on FaceTime, the humble Bay Area star took a moment to speak with us under the roar of passing Chicago “L” trains.
