SHAWN: There are plenty of hot artists right now, but who is carrying the anticipation that Meek Mill is right now? Dreams Worth More Than Money is easily the most wanted project in rap at the moment and deservingly so, Meek has a point to prove.

We were supposed to get DWMTM a year ago before the feds put Meek away for a few months hindering its release. Instead of losing momentum and fanfare, it grew. In fact, the album is so sought after rumors are trying to place it for surprise with as short as a week notice.

Now free, Meek is gearing up for the summer with shows lined up, a XXL cover and a few singles, “Ice Cream” and “The Soundtrack,” to show he still has the juice. If those aren’t an indication that Meek will run the summer, Self Made 4 will be on the way showcasing the Philly star along side of his label mates.

However, the key to Meek Mill’s upcoming summer reign is the roll out toward DWMTM. Meek is scheduled to team up with Nicki Minaj and take over the country this summer, do you really think he is going to hit the nation without dropping heat?
