So, you’re a car enthusiast – what was your first car?

Yo Gotti: My first car was a Bonneville. My very first car my big brother gave it to me, it was one of his cars and he was locked up. He had it all tricked out with the rims, white with brown top, sun roof, Cadillac grills they used to put on them. He had gold rims on it before but when he got locked up the rims and shit weren’t still on it. I ain’t had no rims on it but I just had some tires on it and got it running. My second car was another one of my brother’s old cars – a Chevy. He let me have that two while he was in prison but my sack was a little stronger then so I took that one to the paint shop, put the rims on it and did the whole flip thing.

Why do you go with all-white cars?

Yo Gotti: It represents something. It represents the struggle with what we came with. That color white is a significant color to our culture and it’s a clean color. If you can keep white clean that says a lot about you.

Are you into street racing?

Yo Gotti: I get fast cars to drive slow. I ain’t really racing that’s the police coming. You won’t see me going that fast unless the law behind me and the ish ain’t right.

Are you a big car gamer like Grand Theft Auto?

Yo Gotti: I ain’t been on my game shit. I used to play it when I was younger but I don’t really be having the time. I play [NBA] 2K sometimes.

Who’s your team?

Yo Gotti: I’m rolling with LeBron [James], wherever he goes.
