I Sin comes out on August 27, correct?

Rico: Yup. This is my debut album, but I’m putting it out for free to the public. It’s a real project, not just some throwaway songs. All I ask is that when the album comes out, you become a fan of me and you start to know me as an artist.

Who are some producers and artsits you’re working with?

Rico: I produced the entire album with my team, with the exception of a few. I did a joint with Danger and with Jim Jonsin. I got Big K.R.I.T on there, I got Mooney from L.E.P, I got Troy Ave, I got Kevin Gates. I didn’t really wanna have too many features.

After I Sin, do you have a plan for the first album that you’re actually going to sell?

Rico: Absolutely. We’ll start working on it probably in October. I wanna really approach the game in a whole different way and do something as an executive that hasn’t been done before because a lot of things that have been going on ain’t working.
