Nas may be inspiring more than just future rappers. According to Deadline, Xbox Entertainment Studios is crafting a half-hour long comedy series loosely based on Nasir Jones life. Titled “Street Dreams,” the series will focus on a young Queensbridge MC on the come-up in the 90’s, exploring music, family and the rise and falls of the rap game.
The new series will have expert writer Jonathan Levine penning the plot. Xbox is currently in the process of developing its own original series to appear on Netflix. Stay tuned.
That might be pretty fresh right there. I’ll definitely check it out.
