On Monday night, women took to Twitter to discuss their disgust for Love & Hip Hop newcomer Peter Gunz. The focal point of the season seems to revolve around the love triangle Gunz is having with one of his many baby mama-slash-girlfriends of 13 years, Tara, and his side wife (side chick with marriage license), Amina.

Here’s a little background, if you’re not a fan of the show: Since Amina first appeared on TV screens sporting a tattoo of Gunz’ real last name (“Mrs. Pankey”), she’s been public enemy no. 1 on the show. But Tara has no idea that Peter is even living a secret life (again!), until next week’s episode when Amina finally spills the tea about their big sacred secret. His side wife is simply fed up: “He’s my husband and he’s trying to protect the other women.”

Ladies, it’s imperative that we stand clear of these type of characters creeps, so here’s five red-flag phrases that’ll let you know to run far, far away.

1. “Everyone knows I love you.” – Peter to Amina
If a man ever tells you this but never says it directly to you or his colleagues, take that as a sign that you are being Peter Gun’d.

2. “Promise me you’ll never leave me no matter what!” – Peter to Tara
This is the ultimate sign that he knows he’s doing something wrong and the proverbial shit is about to hit the fan. Tara’s response? “I never leave you until you do something wrong.”

3. “This is the last time.” – Peter to Amina on why she can’t go into the same party with Tara.
Is it ever really the last time? You should know the answer to this by now, ladies. It’s never really the last time.

4. “If I tell you absolutely no one can know about something, if you can tell that, what else you going to tell…” – Peter to Amina after she told Rich Dollaz about the marriage.
This right here is that reverse psychology BS and he’s trying to put all the blame on you. Warning: Do not attempt to get married or into a relationship with anyone that says “you cannot tell anybody.” This means he’s ashamed of you or hiding something.

5. “I’m going to tell her tomorrow. I’m giving you my word that tomorrow is the day.” – Peter to Amina on telling Tara about their marriage.
If it’s always tomorrow and never today, he has absolutely no plans on doing it ever. He just plans on stringing you along until then. Do not get tomorrow’d. It’s a dangerous slippery slope that could have you waiting around for years.
