Lil Baby Surprises Old High School With Performance And $150k Scholarship

Lil Baby shows how to give back in a major way. On Wednesday (March 4.), the My Turn artist announced the My Turn Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is named after his new album. Put together in collaboration between Quality Control, Amazon Music’s Rap Rotation, Wolfpack Global and Motown Records, the scholarship will be given out annually, with the launch starting in 2020.

The scholarship will be offered to students at Atlanta-based Booker T. Washington High School who have displayed excellence in leadership and in the classroom. Lil Baby visited his alma mater high school the day of its launch as he donated $150,000 in academic scholarship.

The QC artist also took to his Instagram story stating that he challenges all rappers to go to their old school and give out some scholarships.
