Ever since 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy there has been a question about how much does he truly have in the piggy bank. The “I Get Money” rapper talked about it on both Grantland and Conan, but his latest discussion was with the Manhattan Supreme Court reveal that he rents or borrows all of his pricey possessions. 

In the courtroom 50 Cent stated that his luxury cars were rented, Page Six reports. The gold chains that hung from his neck were said to be recycled through his jeweler to keep a new look or borrowed from the jeweler. 

“Those cars were rented,” 50 Cent stated. “It’s like music videos, they say action and you see all these fancy cars but everything goes back to the dealership.”

The original belief of 50’s bankruptcy was for financial reasons after being sued by Lastonia Leviston for $5 million for leaking a sex tape of her during a beef with Rick Ross. During the hearing today, 50 apologized to Lewiston for leaking the tape and referring to her as a porn star.
