50 cent

50 Cent is going to have to break the bank.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has to pay a pretty penny to a mother of two. The NY rapper had a civil suit filed against him by Lavonia Leviston. Leviston was humiliated by Jackson due to him posting a sex tape of her online. The mom, Lavonia Leviston, broke down all while tightly gripping the wife of her lawyer’s hand while the jurors read their decision. The Jurors ordered the “Candy Shop” rapper to pay $2.5 million in damages for violating her civil rights for using her image without her permission, and $2.5 million for intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Leviston’s lawyer, Philip Freidin, originally urged the jurors, four women and two men, to slap the rapper with a $20 million judgment for his humiliation of the mother of two.

Jackson has manipulated the tape of Leviston and her boyfriend, Maurice Murray, by creating his own character “Pimpin’ Curly” in the video while giving a very expletive narration. Jackson also saw fit to add two of his songs as a soundtrack for the video, which brought in millions of views.

Jackson’s lawyer, James Renard, told jurors that Jackson got the tape from Murray, who’d assured him that Leviston was ok with the sex tape being online.-QueenxJHoney
