Civil Interview: Logic Says Signing To A Major Label Has A Lot Of Misconceptions

From Twitter to Def Jam, Maryland’s own Logic is on the verge of a major takeover. His debut album will be out before the end of 2014, and for those thinking that Def Jam will get in his way, think again; this is Logic’s show and he plans on doing things his way and his way only.

According to the slick rhyme spitter, being a signed artist to a major label is not all that it’s chalked up to be anyway. “The biggest misconception is that once you sign that deal people think it’s all over with and you made it,” says the focused MC. “Definitely not.”

Him and his longtime producer 6ix have been locked away in the studio (with an Agent Smith action figure aboard) cooking up what Logic intends to be a classic LP. Let’s see if his cult-like fanbase turns that dream into a reality.
