Pitbull’s ‘We Are One (Ole Ole)’ Collaboration Selected As 2014 FIFA World Cup Official Song

The 2014 FIFA World Cup is just a few short months away and today FIFA alongside Sony Music Entertainment announced this year’s official song: “We Are One (Ole Ole).” The Pitbull track features Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian artist Claudia Leitte.
“I’m honored to join Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte at the FIFA World Cup to bring the world together,” says Pitbull. “I truly believe that this great game and the power of music will help unify us, because we are best when we are one.”
The Opening Ceremony will be held June 12 at the Arena de Sao Paulo where all three stars will kick off the games with a live performance of the song.
“I grew up in a house that loved futbol, so I am thrilled to be performing at the World Cup Opening Ceremonies with Pitbull and Claudia Leitte,” says Jennifer Lopez. “This is an amazing celebration of global unity, competition and the sport.”
“We Are One (Ole Ole)” will be released ahead of the games along with a video that is already in development.
