August Alsina‘s debut album, Testimony, will be released on April 15th. “Benediction,” the second single from the album  featuring a verse from Rick Ross, gives Alsina a chance to share part of himself as he talks about his trials and tribulations, including the loss of his brother and his relationship with God.

The New Orleans singer’s debut album will also feature Fabolous, Jeezy, Pusha T and Yo Gotti.
