If you have never watched Chappelle’s Show or just were all out clueless, Dave Chappelle has an extensive list of hip-hop friends. After surprising the fans that attended his Friday night show with a surprise performance from Kanye West, the comedian reloaded his Monday show with an appearance from Nas.
Recently Nas has been performing cuts from his Illmatic album in honor of it’s 20th anniversary, continuing that trend, Nas took the Radio City Music Hall stage to perform some of the classic material.
In front of a sold out crowd and backed by a 40 piece orchestra, the folks in attendance were able to enjoy Nas run through tracks such like “N.Y. State of Mind,” in addition to the funnies slang by Chappelle.
There will be plenty of more performers stopping by Dave Chappelle’s sets with Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae and The Roots still scheduled to make musical appearances.
