Kanye West has no problem signing his Air Yeezys, as long as they’re real. The fashion-forward artist is known to oblige to sign his kicks, particularly on the final stop of his Yeezus tour. Unfortunately for one fan, Kanye stopped mid-signing when he realized his pair of Air Yeezy II “Red October” were actually fake. “These are not real, can’t sign them,” Ye told the fan before walking away to let him soak in the devastating news.

The heartbroken soul isn’t seen on camera but you hear the disappointment in his voice while he watches Mr. West walk away. “Appreciate it man,” he said. “Damn, broke my heart.”

Ensuring to keep the credibility of his brand, it was important for the Chicago native to point out fake when he sees it. The “Red October” surprise release caused pandemonium after Nike refused to reveal a release date – selling out in a quick 11 minutes after hitting the net. Since leaving Nike, all sights are set on what Kanye will conjure up with his new team at Adidas.
