JAY Z & Kanye West Team Up With Samsung For Four-Day SXSW Concert Series
by Staff Editor
SXSW keeps getting bigger and bigger. After the release of Daft Punk’s “Computerized” and Big Sean’s surprising Instagram post, Mashable reports that JAY Z and Kanye West have teamed up with Samsung for a four-day SXSW concert series, which is starting Wednesday night.
Throughout the concert series, Samsung is planning to distribute concert wristbands exclusively to the owners of Samsung Galaxy devices with the new ad-free radio service, Milk Music, downloaded on their respective devices. This will be the first time in a while that Jay and Ye share the same stage since the Watch the Throne tour, which ended in 2012, and this is the second time that JAY Z has partnered with Samsung since Magna Carta Holy Grail, in which they gave away 1 million copies of the album.
Other artists performing this week for Samsung will be Janelle Monae and Gary Clark Jr. on Thursday and more!
