Based on his latest tweet, it seems like Puff Daddy is very open to the idea of buying the Los Angeles Clippers. This afternoon, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced that the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, Donald Sterling, has received a lifetime ban from all things NBA and has been fined the maximum amount of $2.5 million after it was confirmed that he was the individual recorded making racist remarks about African Americans. 

There will need to be a 75 percent vote amongst all of the owners of NBA franchises to officially force Sterling to sell, which will open the Clippers to new ownership. If Diddy’s tweet is to be taken seriously, he’ll be one of the names on the short list of those that can afford to actually buy the franchise and could end up being the only African American majority owner of an NBA franchise outside of Michael Jordan.
