Dave Chappelle visited the other Dave–David Letterman– when he stopped by ‘Late Show with Davis Letterman’ last night to promote his Radio City Music Hall shows with the Roots, Erykah Badu, Nas and many more. While sitting down with Letterman, Chappelle talked at length about his departure from “Chappelle’s Show” on Comedy Central. The best description that he gave was “I didn’t quit, I’m just seven years late for work.”

Dave went on to also talk about his three children, his time in South Africa and calls Illmatic one of the best hip-hop albums ever made. Watch the full interview above.
