Civil TV: K. Michelle Talks Elle Varner, Negativity of the Media
by Staff Editor
K. Michelle has been the subject of hot topics from her time as a cast member of Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta to the present where she is preparing to release her sophomore album. While always aiming to be positive and progressing toward giving her fans the music they love, issues with other artists and the media habitually infiltrate. To give insight on how those situations have affected her and are currently, the bare it all singer sat down to discuss her current relationship with Elle Varner and how she feels about the media with Civil TV.
After finding peace with herself, K. Michelle stated the disagreement between her and fellow singer Elle Varner is a simple case of friends fighting. “As far as the Elle Varner situation friends fight. It is what it is,” K. Michelle shared. “I don’t play about my music, you can take my man before you take my music.”
Adding to the details of her current feelings, the Rebellious songstress states that she is sensitive about her craft but will continue to support Varner.
“At the end of the day Elle Varner is a very dope artist and we don’t have a lot of very dope artist nowadays. So we have to support the ones that we have and I saw a video of hers and I fell in love with the video and some days I really miss talking to her.”
However, the conversation didn’t stop there. K. Michelle also took the time to speak on the menacing entities of the media which attempt to distract her from delivering for her fans. She spoke on a concert where she connected with fans and explained what she was going through only for it to be flipped negatively.
“Those people that pay their money to see me they get all of me. That concert for me was a time to let out and give the people who support me and uplift me, give them me,” she said. “Any concert you come to that’s my home and I won’t let any blog or media take my home from me.”
