Ciara confirms reports of giving birth early Monday morning with a picture of her baby boy’s fingers posted to her Instagram today (May 20). The new mom captioned the photo with some facts about her new pride and joy: “FUTURE ZAHIR WILBURN 9lbs 10oz May 19 2014.”

Ci Cu revealed to US Weekly that choosing a name for her baby boy wasn’t as difficult as expected but the middle name was a bit tricky. “It was kind of easy,” she said. “But the middle name was a little hard for me… I went with what felt right in my soul and my gut. I didn’t second guess it.”

The songstress has been over joyed with her pregnancy, captured out and about shopping with good friend Kim Kardashian for baby clothes to prepare for her bundle of joy.

“It’s so cool when you’re blessed to give the gift of life,” Ciara told Us. “I love kids so much, I’m literally obsessed with kids. So I’m excited about being able to have my own to obsess over.”
