J. Cole and Dreamville Headline SXSW Takeover 3

If you managed to make it to Austin, Texas this past week, then you know the SXSW Takeover show was a must-see event each night. Though each night provided its own excitement, Saturday’s show provided to be the main event when Dreamville took over at a packed ACL Live.

Taking the stage, J. Cole performed tracks from his latest album 2014 Forest Hills Drive, but used his time on stage to be a tease for the album supporting tour letting us know that he will perform the album in it’s entirety along his run across the nation throughout the summer.
Fans were still delighted throughout his performance when 2014 Forest Hills Drive’s “Wet Dreamz,” “G.O.M.D.” and “Fire Squad” were met with past classics such as “In the Morning,” “Lights Please” and “Can’t Get Enough” in his lengthy set.
