Kendrick Lamar Plays New Album for Prince Jackson
by Staff Editor
Kendrick Lamar continues to be low-key towards the media about his upcoming sophomore album, and no one has been able to leak any information about the project. Until now. An unlikely source Prince Jackson, the son of Michael Jackson, has had the privilege of listening to the entire album.
Prince Jackson sent out a tweet late Tuesday night with pictures of him and Kendrick with the caption, “Had the great honor of meeting Kendrick and hearing some of his new tracks for his upcoming album with @RealOBee.”
Unfortunately, Prince did not tweet anything about the music. Although his friend Omer Bhatti, who also sat in on the listening session, posted on Facebook, “Such a great pleasure meeting Kendrick Lamar last night, and hearing him play some new tracks for his upcoming album. Humble guy and the music is on another level.”
K.Dot’s sophomore album is supposed to release this year, and the songs he has released so far have been outstanding. His first single “i”, which received a Grammy, and his most recent track “The Blacker The Berry,” produced by Boi-1da.
Safe to say, Kendrick is going to break the internet with another masterpiece.
