Last night (Feb. 20), Ahmad “Real” Givens of VH1’s I Love New York and Real Chance of Love passed away after a battle with Stage 4 colon cancer.

According to TMZ, the reality show star had been bedridden since a fall in January, which caused his condition to take a turn for the worst. This comes after surgery back in 2013 which led to a positive outlook on his condition. Givens allegedly passed away hours after a family visit where he had trouble with his speech and vision.

Chance, brother and co-star of Givens, took to his Instagram to release the following statement earlier today:

By to my favorite guy in this whole world be in peace we love you forever bro I’ll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God’s kindom forever and ever bro words can’t describe my pain world pray for me!
