The 57th annual Grammy Awards was a night of high-fashion hits and misses. There is without a doubt that music’s biggest names descended upon the red carpet in attention grabbing, show-stopping outfits.

Last night (Feb. 8), a woman who slightly resembled Keyshia Cole appeared on the red carpet in a dress that certainly stole the show. Compared to the orange, plastic fence used on construction sites, Twitter and Instagram went meme crazy – tagging Keyshia in the process.

Hopping on Twitter, the songstress was surprised to see her fans actively in her mentions in regards to the Grammy get-up. The Oakland native swiftly cleared the air.

Some fans also came to her defense, retweeting others who were confused. What makes this case of mistaken identity even funnier is that Keyshia wasn’t even present at last night’s awards, instead she was at home with her daughter playing online games of dominoes with fans.
