Ice Cube Gives Concert Goers A Sneak Peek Of The ‘N.W.A.’ Movie
by Staff Editor
Hip-Hop legend Ice Cube has been a very busy man lately. Currently, he is touring all around Australia in anticipation of the release of his 10th studio album, Everythang’s Corrupt, that is due out in 2015. Besides that, he is currently working with Dr. Dre on the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton – a project that will hopefully inspire N.W.A to hit the studio one more time for their fans.
Australian fans were recently treated with a sneak peek of the upcoming biopic during one of Cube’s concerts. The characters of Eazy-E (Jason Mitchell), Dr. Dre (Corey Hawkins) and Ice Cube (O’Shea Jackson Jr., Cube’s actual son) all show up during the trailer.
Co-director, F. Gary Gary, said he wanted to make sure the group’s cultural significance and influence on hip-hop were accurately portrayed in the film. The movie will be released in August 2015. Here’s a sneak peek to hold us down until then.
