Despite his gangster persona that comes to life in his music, Meek Mill has always been an active member in the community by doing several charitable things. And today, the Philly emcee strikes again.

A young girl named Gilliane Chrisphonte started a fund raiser on GoFundMe.com in order to help raise money to battle Lymphoma, a serious form of cancer. Meek Mill, along with the popular charity organization Robin Hood, came to the rescue when they heard of Gilliane’s fight. The actual dollar amount that Meek donated is unknown, but per his Instagram photo yesterday, we can see that Meek helped Gilliane exceed her goal of $12,000.00.
