Bruno Mars Halftime Performance Sets Record in Views
by Staff Editor
Not only was Bruno Mars the youngest solo headliner in the history of the Super Bowl’s Halftime Show, he also brought in the most viewers that the halftime performance has ever seen. According to reports from Billboard, Bruno’s performance, with an appearance from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, brought in a total of 115.3 million viewers. This breaks the previous record held by Madonna’s 114.0 million viewers two years ago, as well as surpasses the total views brought on by BeyoncĂ© last year, with 110.8 million viewers.
The game itself also broke records with 111.5 million viewers, the largest in history. This means that a couple million viewers turned to FOX just to catch the halftime show. Let’s see if anyone doubts Bruno’s superstar status after this.
