Pharrell Williams Signs To Columbia Records

Super-producer Pharrell Williams has had a hell of a 2013. He has contributed some of the years greatest hits including Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” as well as unleashing the world’s first 24-hour music video. Now, the Grammy-nominated singer/producer/songwriter has signed to Columbia records and is already preparing his debut with the label for 2014.
“When we excitedly partnered with Pharrell in January of this year, we felt it was his time again,” Rob Stringer, Columbia Records Chairman/CEO, said according to VIBE. “Since then ‘Blurred Lines,’ and ‘Get Lucky’ have defined pop music in 2013, and now we are preparing to launch Pharrell as a global solo superstar in 2014. ‘Happy’ is just the beginning.”
Next step for Pharrell is world domination.
