With the announcement of the DEWeezy campaign at this years SXSW, Mountain Dew continues to keep the fire going with plans to release the projects first commercial tomorrow, April 12th. The commercial will feature headman Lil’ Wayne as well as friend Mac Miller, and top skaters Paul Rodriguez and Theodious Bailey to name a few. It is considered to be a general commercial for the brand, but still adds quite nicely to the build up of the DEWeezy campaign, which we’re told will be picking up rather soon. Scheduled to air during ESPN’s ‘First Take’ show on ESPN2, this is the perfect combination of Weezy’s new campaign and his very apparent love for sports.
