Nicki Minaj Delivers Highly Anticipated New Record “Yikes”

After building much anticipation for the release of new music, Nicki Minaj has delivered her latest single titled “Yikes.” Produced by Pooh Beatz, Nicki’s all-new track finds the superstar delivering fresh and hardcore lyrics while maintaining her iconic rap style.
“Woke up, the price of coke up
I just hit em with the low cut then call my folks up
All that talkin’ out your neck just might get your throat cut
This a mac truck, not a black truck
When we move tell ’em back up
Click the clack up”
Buzz surrounding Nicki’s new record began to stir shortly after she released a teaser earlier this week. In a mini-video clip, Minaj raps along to the first verse of the song and makes a Rosa Parks reference, which has caused some backlash as some have accused Nicki of disrespecting the civil rights leader.
As she recently teamed up with Meghan Trainor for their “Nice To Meet Ya” collaboration, Nicki’s fans and supporters have been eager and excited for the rapper to return to the music scene. As 2020 continues to roll in on a high note, a new era of Nicki Minaj may be on the rise as well.
