According to CBS News, DaBaby was arrested in Miami after an argument with a music promoter, Miami police reports. Dababy claimed that the music promoter was $10,000 short on payment for a performance, leading to an altercation on Thursday, according to the arrest warrant.

After allegedly punching a man who was with the promoter, the report said Dababy and a group of men approached the promoter and hit him. One of the men allegedly took $80, a bank card and a iPhone, the victim told police. 

The rapper has been booked into a Miami-Dade County jail, court records show. Due to another outstanding warrant in Dallas, Texas, Dababy is being held without bond.

DaBaby’s next court appearance is set for Tues., Jan. 7.
