If you are fan of the Harlem-based music group, A$AP Mob, then you are familiar with their 90’s New York sound. Their overall laid back flow and perspectives has highly influenced urban fashion and music for almost a decade. Lyricist, A$AP Twelvyy is one of the OG members who has contributed to the group’s progression and is back with LYBB. The term stands for Last Year Being Broke. This time he blessed us by dropping a song on Soundcloud titled “Garments Renaissance Freestyle.” As we wait for his album, this was the perfect teaser.

Listen here and tell us what you think:

Twelvyy heavily uses old-school styles throughout the entire song while mentioning his lifestyle, fashion, and other rapper things. LYBB, is actually the name of Twelvyy’s brand which is more than just your average clothing line. To sum it up, according to its website, LYBB is:

“a new progressive clothing company that has imprinted on the world more than just a fashion standpoint, but serves an inspiring and motivational slogan. Last Year Being Broke or LYBB is to be worn as a constant reminder to cater to the ideology of perpetually cultivating one’s undying work ethic.”

Let’s recap to the 2016, when he dropped “L.Y.B.B. (Resolution)” that showed the world, Twelvyy was not to be underestimated!
