Taking to his website to confirm the official news, Kanye West is set to release his ninth solo studio album, “Jesus is King,” on Sept. 27. The exciting announcement comes just a week after Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, broke the internet by sharing a track-list including 12 songs and the album name, “Jesus is King,” on a notebook according to Billboard.

After West began to lead his weekly Sunday service programs in January, Kanye’s focus in music has been more so on the gospel genre. As “Jesus is King” is set to follow the 2018 release of “Ye,” it will be very exciting to hear where West takes us with his highly anticipated album.
