Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul Sues Travis Scott

DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia is suing Travis Scott over his song “No Bystanders”, claiming it emulates the Oscar-winning group’s 1995 song “Tear Da Club Up”.
According to TMZ, Paul claims Scott switched the lyrics up on the group’s song. The Mafia member points out the similarities in both songs, also pointing out lyrics that are similar. The hook to Three 6 Mafia’s song goes like “Tear da club up, tear da club up” while “No Bystanders” uses “F*ck da club up, f*ck da club up” instead.
“No Bystanders” is featured off of Scott’s highly-anticipated 2018 album, ‘ASTROWORLD’, which debuted at No. 1. The album was also nominated for Best Rap Album at this years Grammys.
