J.Cole has released the music video for his new single “Middle Child.” The Mez directed visual features heads on mantles, as well as J. Cole riding around in a shopping cart at a supermarket.

It is unclear if the track is a single release of what later maybe a full-length project. However, there has been speculation that it may appear on either J.Cole’s new mixtape, solo album or the second compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers III

Spending four weeks on the Hot 100 chart and peaking at No. 4. the “Middle Child” single has earned more than 44 million views on YouTube and surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify.

“Once we did the record, we just knew there was something special about it,” T-Minus told Complex about the track. “I mean, he’s addressing a lot of things that are happening right now, so you know, he wanted to get that record out.”
