Influential connector in the ATL trap scene, Peewee Longway dropped his video for “On Dat Freestyle”. Additionally, he’s returning to the fold with a new batch of bangers and announcing, State Of The Art, his upcoming album.

Switching up his flow to emphasize the contours of the instrumental, “On Dat Freestyle” highlights Peewee’s oft-overlooked lyrical ability, as he spits rapid-fire, alternating between outrageous boasts and subtle self-deprecating humor. In the video, directed by frequent collaborator Omar The Director, Peewee ghost rides like he’s from the Bay, rocking a ski mask and resembling a street Luchador.

The proper follow-up to Peewee’s 2016 studio debut Mr. Blue Benjamin, State Of The Art is a testament to Peewee’s microphone prowess, offering bouncy piano jams like “Bout It, Bout It,” minor-key flexors like “James Harden,” drugged-out anthems like “Les Be Real,” and many more.
