This week Iggy took a visit to Power 106’s “The Cruz Show” where she was told by host J Cruz that a special guest was on the line. It took a second for the raptress to recognize the voice, but once she realized it was her idol Missy Elliot,  she was overcome with emotion.

“I’m like literally dying right now. I love you, you’re my hero,” she says to Missy. “You’re my absolute hero of life.”

Missy, humbled by Iggy’s words responded, “They hit me up and I said I wasn’t gonna miss it. Just keep doing your thing. Congratulations on all your success!”

Iggy later shared that Missy’s single “One Minute Man” is in her top 3 favorite music videos of all time and that she admired Missy’s creativity.

After the call, Iggy continued with her fan girl moment.

“I spent my entire childhood watching her videos, like just wanting to make music videos that could be anywhere near as good as hers. I know that mine aren’t, by the way, because she’s the ultimate GOAT of all-time music videos. She’s just the original girl that doesn’t fit the mold and she’s cool.”

Apart from speaking to her favorite MCee, Iggy will be releasing her 6-track EP Survive the Summer on Augisn’t 3rd featuring her new hot single “Kream” with Tyga and “Omg” featuring Wiz Khalifa.
