If you’ve ever wanted to watch Gabrielle Union channel her inner John McLane and pick off bad guys one-by-one, boy you’re in for a good treat because Breaking In is the new thriller from director James McTeigue and producer Will Packer.

In the film, a woman by the name of Shaun Russell (Gabrielle Union) takes her two children on a weekend getaway to her late father’s secluded, high-tech estate in the countryside. She soon finds herself in a desperate fight to save all of their lives when four men break into the house in search of something.

The KarenCivil.com team recently sat down with McTeigue and Packer to talk about the film. Packer dished about working on his 27th film as a producer and the intensity of the production. While McTeigue broke down how the making of Breaking In came about.
