Uncle Snoop hinted at releasing a gospel album last year, after his last project Neva Left. In February, he previewed the new album dropping singles, “One More Day,” with Charlie Wilson and “Sunshine Feel Good,” featuring Kim Burrell. The righteous album includes vocals from Faith Evans, The Clark Sisters, Tye Tribbett, Rance Allen, B. Slade, and more.

Snoop shares his process of completing the album, “It’s always been on my heart. I just never got around to it because I always be doing ‘gangsta’ business or doing this or doing that,” he says, “I just felt like it’s been on my heart too long. I need to do it now.” – via Hot New Hip Hop.
