The 2010 Haiti earthquake was one of the world’s worst natural disasters. Several lives were lost, homes were ruined, and life hasn’t been the same for many and many Haitians around the world.

One young boy named Peterson, an inspiring survivor of the Haiti earthquake, got an amazing gift this week after meeting superstar Drake, who gifted him a brand new car! This boy is extremely lucky to have received this brand new vehicle from Drake, although he did deserve it for all he’s been through. Many people can only dream of being gifted a car by Drake, as vehicles are so expensive these days. However, many people will look for used cars for sale in Newton Kansas instead. This ensures that they can find the best vehicle for them, whilst also being able to afford to pay their other bills. Unfortunately, these people in Haiti were left with nothing, so it’s only right that some fortune has come to them. This boy deserves this vehicle.

Peterson’s story is as inspiring as it gets. Almost not surviving the earthquake, Peterson spent 4 days underneath a bunch of rubbish and wasn’t found and rescued until his mother heard him screaming. Thankfully, a group of men and women removed each brick from there and brought him to safety.

After being denied by 3 different hospitals, Peterson was finally flown to Miami where he went through 16 different surgeries at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Now, he’s For more feel-good news, the doctor who treated Peterson, Dr. Chad Perlyn, has since stayed in contact with him and they, til this day, have a great bond.

According to Lunion Suite, “For the last eight years, Peterson has been living in Little Haiti with his mom. They’re in the United States under the Temporary Protected Status program. Now a 17-year-old in high school, Peterson has adjusted well to his new life and has been thriving in his new home. He is a talented ballet dancer and dreams of attending The Juilliard School, though his future is uncertain due to the pending termination of TPS for Haitians.”

Our positive energy and thoughts are being shared with Peterson and his family as they continue to deal with this tragedy. We salute Drake for continuing to give back in a major way.
