Super Bowl LII is officially underway and hip-hop is already making its presence felt. Just like they said they would, the Philadelphia Eagles entered the field at U.S. Bank Stadium with the sounds of Meek Mill’s classic “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro)” track.

As most of us know, Meek is currently behind bars for a probation violation for a case where the charges were dropped. Despite his probation officer saying he shouldn’t have been sent back to the jail, the judge on his case acted otherwise and sentenced him anyway.

Meek’s considered one of Philly’s best rap artists so we know this honor must feel good to him. We just wish he was out of jail and able to see it in person.
